Grant Funding

Area foundations, through their generous grant funding, make it possible for Cheshire Home to sustain our unique training and education programs, upgrade our residential facility, and purchase essential equipment to meet the very specialized needs of our physically disabled residents.  Each grant award enables us as an organization to enhance the quality of life for TDthose we serve and directly impacts the daily lives of our residents as they pursue their goal of independence.

Every time a resident boards the bus to go to college, trains in the Community Resource Center, gains employment, engages in community activities, and certainly, when they attain independence, they do so because of their own skill and determination, and because of the funding that provided the resources they need in order to succeed.

As we have grown in the scope of our services through the years, foundation support has been essential to our capacity to evolve. Our state-of-the-art physical therapy room, residential kitchen, cutting-edge adaptive technology, and modernized terrace and shower suites were all made possible through grant awards. We remain indebted to the foundations whose support has profoundly impacted our Home and its residents, and we remain committed to ensuring that each dollar awarded touches a life and positively effects our community as a whole.
