Cheshire Home Residents Pursue Academic Studies
Erik Braham and Jack Fitzhugh are each taking the online County College of Morris course, "Introduction to Media Technology", which covers a wide array of topics, inclusive of web development, electronic music editing, video creation and editing, and marketing and advertising. When they complete this introductory 14-week session, the continuing course will be held onsite at the Randolph campus.
Anthony Ayala, pictured above, has begun the first of two County College of Morris courses in order to achieve his Web Design Certificate. His long-term goal is to attain a degree in Graphic Design, and to open his own business, providing advertising companies with both graphic and website design. Anthony began his college career at Middlesex County College in 2007. His studies were interrupted for a period of time, but he has now resumed, and beginning with the Winter 2014 semester, he plans to register for classes on campus.
Darja Wright is attending Essex County College, where she is studying Medical Insurance Billing. In February of 2014 she will receive her certification in this field, and her immediate goal is to become employed in private practice at a doctor's office. She plans to advance in increments, and to ultimately achieve her degree in accounting and become fully independent.
Congratulations to all, and best of luck!
