Cheshire Home Welcomes 2019!
What a year! 2018 was a wonderful year here at Cheshire Home! We hosted fun events, welcomed many kind volunteers, were thankful for generous donors, and (most importantly) saw our residents make great strides.
In 2018 we celebrated as one resident gained his independence and, through hard work in physical therapy, walked out the doors of Cheshire Home on his last day. We cheered on another resident as he also transitioned to a group home. One resident continued his pursuit of the Restaurant Management and Event Planning Certificate of Achievement at Morris Community College- he's almost at the finish line. Many residents benefited from new Occupational Therapy equipment that we purchased because of grants awarded to our organization. Each department saw successes in different ways. It’s these victories that fill Cheshire Home with hope and excitement for the future!
As we say goodbye to 2018, we are ready to usher in 2019 with anticipation! Here’s to each resident reaching their goals. Here’s to making new friends within our community and continuing to create memories with old friends. And, here’s to another happy and healthy year filled with personal accomplishment!
Happy New Year!
