Cheshire Volunteers Through the Years

Posted Thu, Apr 23rd, 2015

Through the years our volunteers have contributed countless hours, completed more projects than we can  keep track of, and provided expertise, companionship, and good old fashioned fun at Cheshire Home. As we look back over photos from Community Partnership Days, Days of Service Learning, Global Impact Days, and often, "any ol' days", we remember new friends we've made who had one thing in mind when they came through our doors. They wanted to help us. So...every year rooms get painted, flowers get planted, gutters get cleaned, and the basement gets organized! Residents have friends to join in on activities and trips. As the seasons change they get assistance in re-organizing their closets, and when tax season hits they receive expert guidance on completing their forms. Staff gets help in preparing mailings or getting ready for the parties we love to have!

One thing about volunteers - they always seem to be smiling, don't they? These are happy, generous people who have made a difference in our resident's lives each time they come to Cheshire Home.

So here's to you, volunteers, during this special month and all throughout the year!
