Runners and Local Businesses Make for Record Year in Fund Raising!
The Salvatore Minardi Salon, renowned for its creative hair design and personalized attention to each client, held two Cut-A-Thons to benefit Cheshire Home, one in their salon on Park Avenue in Madison, and one on Bottle Hill Day in Madison, as Salvatore and his team set up a tent and cut hair throughout the day!
Poor Herbie's Restaurant, located on Waverly Street in Madison, opened its doors to host our third annual 5K "Happy Hour" Pep Rally. Bartenders and wait staff generously donated their tips for the evening, as attendees positioned themselves to out-bid each other for great gifts and prizes, and a good time was had by all!
Our runners, who travel from towns throughout New Jersey to run in our locally held 5K that takes off from Madison High School, offer heartfelt support to our residents, cheer each other on, and compete for the cause with caring and determination not to be matched. Representing ages from 14 and under to 65 and older, they exemplify the spirit of competition and generosity, and each year we are uplifted by their efforts and their success.
We are humbled by our friends and partners who give of themselves on our behalf, and the residents of Cheshire Home are profoundly impacted by their contributions.
