Cheshire Home welcomed student nurses from Morris County School of Technology to study and learn from our wonderful nursing staff. The nurses-in-training were eager to learn and became better accustomed to medication dispensing, as well as wound and tracheal care.

Along with learning medical skills that they will carry through their carriers, the MCVT student nurses also spent time with residents. They offered one-on-one attention which allowed students and residents to become comfortable with each other.

Cheshire Home’s Director of Nursing, Madelyn Cerrato, RN boasted, “It is a wonderful and exciting opportunity when we open the doors for MCVT LPN students!” She continued, “It is a positive experience for the residents, staff and of course the students.”

Thank you to the student nurses of Morris County School of Technology. We wish you all the best!!
