In October, Cheshire Home resident, Neil Rosen, moved to a private apartment. Neil’s road to recovery was not easy, but with each challenge came determination and a smile. Neil was extremely motivated and his accomplishments have made us all very proud!

In the Spring of 2018, Neil enrolled in the County College of Morris, taking an Event Planning and Marketing course offered within the Hospitality Major. He enjoyed the course so much that he decided to pursue the Restaurant Management and Event Planning Certificate of Achievement. Neil achieved this goal with ease, appreciating not only the academics but also his time spent on campus.

Neil then set his sights on pursuing a job within the community. Again, he achieved this goal by working as a receptionist for a fitness facility in Morristown prior to the pandemic.

Throughout his time at Cheshire Home, Neil worked diligently in Physical Therapy and Occupational Therapy. He was also always at the center of our social events. He frequently attended parties and fundraisers, and was a friend to many at Cheshire. Though you may not know Neil, his picture might be familiar- he was ALWAYS happy for a photo opportunity.

We are so proud of Neil and all of his accomplishments. We will greatly miss him and know his future is extremely bright!
