Cheshire Home Honors Our Nurses!

Posted: Friday, May 8th, 2015

This year's National Nurse Recognition's theme is "Ethical Practice. Quality Care" and Cheshire Home's nurses exemplify both. They dedicate themselves entirely to the care and well-being of our residents, every hour of each day throughout the year. Their care is indespensable to the quality of life we provide, and their professionalism is matched only by the compassion they bring to each person they serve.

Under the leadership of Director of Nursing Madelynn Cerrato, our team of nurses oversees each aspect of our very specialized care. As we see them dispensing medication, conducting rounds with physicians, completing daily charting, or maybe just sharing a quiet moment with a resident, we know they're providing much more than medical necessities.  They are letting each resident know that they are here for them, to help them heal, to support them as they rehabilitate, and to care for them through each and every challenge.

In thanking our nurses and letting them know just how wonderful we know they are, Executive Director George Zeitler presented each with a Cheshire Home monogrammed blanket, to keep them warm and comfy. And to show them how much we appreciate them!
